Supplies Used: Cardstock, Colored Pens, Double-Sided Tape, Glitter, Glue, Paper (Decorative or Colored), Ribbon

The teacher will die-cut the materials for student use prior to the lesson.

  1. Die-cut the XL or LG Angel #5 3-D body & arms using tan cardstock. Cut additional layers of colored or decorative paper to embellish the Angel. Alternately, the entire Angel may be cut from white cardstock and decorated by the students with crayons, colored pencils or colored pens.
  2. Embellish the Angel while flat. If multiple papers have been cut, trim the head from the Angel of a contrasting color to be used for the robe. Adhere over the tan colored Angel (Figure A).
  3. Use pens for highlights and hair. The halo can be die-cut from a gold scrap and adhered to the angel or use glue and glitter.
  4. Adhere the arms onto the flat Angel centering the hands (Figure B).
  5. Apply glue, double-sided tape or any adhesive to the flap located on the Angel's body (Figure C).
  6. Gently bring the two ends of the body together and adhere along the flap (Figure D).
  7. Die-cut the Angel #5 3-D wings from contrasting cardstock. Turn the Angel over and adhere the wings (Figure E).
  8. Attach a ribbon to the completed Angel (see Main Photo).
