Apple Dry Erase Board

Concept:
Create your own dry-erase board and accent it with the Apple die.
Objective:
Design personal dry-erase boards for student use as they learn independently, in small groups or with the whole class.

Design dry erase boards for everyday classroom use in any subject across curriculum. Students can practice skills in language arts with whole group instruction, within small groups or as independent practice.
Supplies Used: Cardstock, Chalk, Crayons, Dry Erase Marker, Glue, Page Protector, Scissors
The teacher will die-cut the materials for student use prior to the lesson.
- Mat an 8" x 10 1/2" sheet of white cardstock or construction paper to a red 8 1/2" x 11" sheet of paper.
- Die-cut three AllStar Apple using light green, medium green and red paper.
- Place brown paper over the stem and leaf area of the Apple and die-cut. Cut the stems and adhere to the Apples (see Main Photo).
- Place dark green paper over the leaf area of the Apple and die-cut. Cut the leaves and adhere to the stems (see Main Photo).
- Use chalk or crayons for highlights.
- Adhere the Apples to the bottom of the matted white page (see Main Photo).
- Slide the page into a clear page protector.
- A dry-erase marker can be used on the page protector to practice math, spelling or writing. A dry cloth will wipe it clean, ready for another use.
