Students can create either a Snowman card or tag as desired. Cards can accompany student-made gifts and are fun to display on tables or the mantelpiece during the holiday season. A Snowman tag is easy for younger students and can be attached to gifts with a simple ribbon. Teachers can create tags for the class and attach a special treat for each student.

Supplies Used: Cardstock, Glue, Scissors, Tape (Double-Sided)

The teacher will die-cut the materials for student use prior to the lesson.

Snowman Tag

  1. Die-cut the AllStar Snowman & Hat body using white cardstock or construction paper.
  2. Die-cut the Hat using black paper.
  3. Die-cut the arms of the Snowman using brown paper.
  4. Die-cut the nose using orange paper.
  5. Adhere the Hat, arms and nose to the body of the Snowman.
  6. Write a short message on the Snowman's body (see Main Photo).

Snowman Card

  1. Fold in half a piece of paper that is twice as wide as the Snowman.
  2. Lay the folded edge of the paper just INSIDE the cutting edge on the side of the die to make the die-cut open like a card.
  3. Place the die and paper, rubber side down, into the Ellison Machine and cut.
  4. Follow steps 2 through 5 of the Snowman tag to embellish the Snowman card.
  5. Write a short message inside the card (see Main Photo).
