It's in the Bag!

Concept:

Assemble hand-made bags and fill with incentives for students.
Can use either AllStar or SureCut Dies.

Objective:

Assemble bags and use for random selection of student names, student recognition or holiday treats.

Note: This lesson can be created using either Ellison AllStar or SureCut Dies.

Supplies Used: Cardstock, Glue, Ribbon, Scissors, Tape (Double-Sided), Tissue Paper

The teacher will die-cut the materials for student use prior to the lesson.

  1. If using the AllStar Bag w/Handles, die-cut two Bags using blue cardstock or construction paper. Fold on all the perforated lines.
  2. Place glue or double-sided tape on the top side of the flaps on the part of the Bag with the handle (Figure A). Adhere the sides together.
  3. Place glue or double-sided tape on the top side of the two small flaps. Adhere these flaps to the inside bottom of the two short sides of the Bag (Figure B).
  4. Place glue or double-sided tape on the top side of the large flap. Adhere this flap to the inside bottom of the Bag (Figure C).
  5. If using the SureCut Bag #1, fold along perforations and adhere to assemble.
  6. Die-cut the Word, Wow! using yellow paper. Adhere Wow! to the front of either Bag.
  7. Cut a 16" length of yellow ribbon and tie around the Handle of the Bag. Attach a Star to the ribbon. Tape may be used to hold the ribbon in place (see Main Photo).
