Lacing dies can serve many purposes in addition to the reinforcing of fine motor skills. Decorate the Mitten with a figure wearing warm clothing to discuss winter activities or ways to protect oneself from the cold weather. This Lacing activity can follow a lesson on different types of winter weather and how to play safely and be healthy in cold climates. Use lacing dies to support any curriculum area.
