Lettered Nameplate

Concept:

Create fun, lettered nameplates using the SureCut Circus Alphabet with students.

Objective:

Welcome students back to school with creative nameplates at their desks.

Welcome students back to school with unique lettered nameplates! Use a variety of Alphabet styles and themes to personalize the nameplates. Learn student names during this project and enhance classroom management skills. Consider creative ways of grouping students to establish the classroom community.

Supplies Used: Cardstock, Glue, Paper (Lined), Scissors

The teacher will die-cut the materials for student use prior to the lesson.

  1. Cut a 12" x 18" piece of yellow cardstock or construction paper down to 8" x 18" for a nameplate.
  2. Cut thin strips from lined paper and adhere to the front of the nameplate (see Main Photo).
  3. Die-cut the student's name from the Circus Capital Letters using green paper. Adhere to the front of the nameplate.
  4. Die-cut SM Apple using red, green and brown paper. Leave the brown Apple whole. Cut highlights from the red and brown Apples and adhere to the red Apple (see Main Photo).
  5. Adhere the embellished Apple to the top of the nameplate.
