Sheriff Badge

Concept:
Create personalized sheriff badges.
Objective:
Create fun sheriff badges for playtime, social studies lessons or as unique name badges for field trips.
Recommended Grade Levels: 1-2, Pre-K-K

Supplies Used: Cardstock, Glue, Hole Punch, Pen, Scissors, Yarn
The teacher will die-cut the materials for student use prior to the lesson.
- Die-cut LG Sheriff Badge using gold and yellow cardstock or construction paper.
- Leave the yellow Badge whole. Cut the tips and the center perforation from the gold Badge. Adhere the large part of the gold Badge to the yellow Badge (see Main Photo).
- Punch two holes near the top of the Badge.
- Cut a 30" length of yellow yarn. Thread the ends of the yarn through the front of the Badge holes. Tie the ends in knots at the back of the Badge.
- Print the student's name on the front of the Badge (see Main Photo).
