Concept:
Decorate a beautiful bookmark to inspire religious reading.
Objective:
Create bookmarks with religious symbols, sayings or scriptures for Bible Studies or inspirational reading.

Inspire year-round reading with student-created bookmarks to suit all occasions. Create bookmarks to supplement language arts lessons, reward good behavior and academic performance or celebrate holidays.
Note: The Bookmarks, Hold It #3 have been retired. Consider substituting with Bookmark, Cross.
Supplies Used: Cardstock, Glue, Scissors
The teacher will die-cut the materials for student use prior to the lesson.
- Die-cut Hold It Bookmarks #3 using cardstock or construction paper.
- Cut a small piece of paper and adhere behind the opening of the cross and fish.
- Cut several small strips of contrasting paper and adhere to the front of the Bookmarks, trimming along the edges.
