Embellish a die-cut Finger Puppet Frog for colorful dramatic play.

Students will decorate the main characters of their favorite story for a creative presentation.

Layering, or embellishing, is not as complicated as it might look. It is just a matter of leaving one die-cut whole and trimming away parts of other die-cuts and adhering them on top of the whole die-cut. Decorate this adorable Finger Puppet Frog for animated fun!
Supplies Used: Cardstock, Colored Markers, Crayons, Glue, Hand Punch, Scissors
The teacher will die-cut the materials for student use prior to the lesson.
- Die-cut Finger Puppet Frog (or any Ellison Finger Puppet) from multiple colors of cardstock or construction paper.
- Decorate and layer Frog using glue. To layer, leave one shape whole and cut highlights from other colors (Figure A).
