Happy Holidays Tree Card

Concept:

This cute card is an easy way to send a heartfelt holiday greeting, and it's such a versatile project that you can use this idea as a template for thank you cards or invites, too. Just follow the instructions below using your Sizzix eclips machine and cartridges.

Objective:

Use the eclips machine to create personalized greeting cards and invitations for parents and students.

Students can create a variety of holiday cards using the eclips machine and cartridges. Cards can accompany student-made gifts and are fun to display on tables or the mantelpiece during the holiday season. Teachers can create special cards for each student with warm wishes for the winter break.

Other Supplies: Cardstock, Jewels, Patterned Paper, Ribbon

The teacher will cut the materials for student use prior to the lesson.

  1. Create a card out of cardstock and patterned paper. Tie a ribbon around card.
  2. Cut Phrase, Happy Holidays out of cardstock using the eclips machine and Holiday cartridge. Mat Phrase, Happy Holidays on cardstock and adhere to card.
  3. Cut Christmas Tree out of cardstock using the eclips machine and Holiday cartridge. Layer Christmas Tree on a scalloped cardstock square and adhere to card front.
  4. Embellish with jewels (see Main Photo).
