Missing Tooth Graph
Lesson #21074

Concept:

Create a classroom graph showing each student

Objective:

Introduce graphing while acknowledging each important lost tooth in the classroom.

Curriculums: Health, Math

Supplies Used: Black Marking Pen, Colored Butcher Paper, Adhesive Letters and Numbers, Poster board

The teacher will die-cut the materials for student use prior to the lesson.

1.Create a graph using colored butcher paper or poster board. The graph should be 5 rows high and include a column across for each student (see Main Photo). Boxes need to be large enough to hold a Tiny Tooth die-cut.

2.Use adhesive letters and numbers or print "What's Missing?" across the top of the graph and the numbers 1 through 5 down the left side of the graph.

3.Die-cut many Tiny Teeth from white paper. Keep these available for students to add to the graph.

4.Students adhere one Tiny Tooth for each tooth they have already lost. Each time a student loses a tooth, a Tiny Tooth may be added to the graph.
