Pencil and Lollipop Prizes

Combine die-cuts with lollipops or pencils as a reward for good behavior or a special accomplishment.

Teachers create amazing incentives in the classroom to celebrate student successes. Promote academic and social-emotional growth with simple prizes and awards using Ellison dies. Select from an assortment of dies to create the perfect prize for any occasion. Share these creations as holiday treats for the class. Guide students in creating their own gifts for loved ones and special friends.
Supplies Used: Adhesive Letters, Cardstock, Double-Sided Tape, Glue, Hand Punch 1/4", Lollipops, Pencil, Permanent Marker, Scissors, Stickers
The teacher will die-cut the materials for student use prior to the lesson.
- Die-cut various shapes from multiple colors of cardstock, construction or patterned paper. Consider laminating the paper for increased durability (Figure A).
- Decorate and layer die-cuts using glue or double-sided tape. To layer, leave one shape whole and cut highlights from other colors (Figure B).
- Cut the handle off SM Basket #1 and adhere Leaves from SM Leaves & Vine (Figure C).
- Punch two 1/4" holes in the decorated die-cut using a Hand Punch (Figure D).
- Alternately, use hand-cut tabs to attach a lollipop or pencil to a die-cut (Figure E).
- Attach a lollipop to the decorated flower pot. Slide another lollipop through holes or tabs of additional designs (see Main Photo).
