Happy Chanukah Card

Concept:

Make a simple and easy Chanukah card.

Objective:

Celebrate Chanukah and create a quick holiday card.

Design a card for any holiday or celebration. Make it extra special with an inspirational message inside.

Supplies Used:  Cardstock, Construction Paper, Glue, Marker (Black), Paper (Silver), Scissors

The teacher will die-cut the materials for student use prior to the lesson.

  1. Cut a 6 1/4" x 12" piece of dark blue cardstock or construction paper. Fold in half for a card.
  2. Die-cut LG Star of David #2 using silver, purple and white paper. Adhere the silver Star to the front of the card.
  3. Adhere the purple hexagon in the center of the silver Star.
  4. Cut 1/8" off of each side of the white hexagon. Print the words "Happy Chanukah" on the white hexagon using the black marker and adhere to the purple hexagon (see Main Photo).
