Create fun activity boxes for any subject area.

Objective:

Assemble and design creative pillow boxes filled with dreams and personal goals.

Inspire dreams and goal-setting with creative boxes celebrating student goals. Students decorate their boxes and fill with dreams written on fun shapes. At the end of the school year, students can open their boxes and reflect on their progress and achievement of goals.

Supplies Used:Cardstock or Construction Paper, Colored Pens, Colored Pencils, Crayons, Marking Pen, Tape (Double-Sided)

The teacher will cut the materials for student use prior to the lesson.

  1. Cut the Pillow Box using the eclips machine and Albums, Bags & Boxes cartridge. Assemble and secure ends with double-sided tape.
  2. Cut the Teddy Bear using the Starter Cartridge and decorate.
  3. Mat a title and adhere to the Box. Layer the Teddy Bear and adhere to the Box.
  4. Cut Scalloped Circles using the Basic Shapes cartridge.
  5. Write goals and dreams on the Circles and place in the Box (see Main Photo).
