Concept:
Use the Flipper Card to make fast and easy practice manipulatives for state capitals, math facts, reading or upper and lowercase alphabet.
Objective:
Students will practice geography, math and reading skills using their own Flipper flashcards.

Use this Flashcard Flipper to reinforce concepts in any subject area. Students can quiz each other in small groups or study independently. This method of review is a fun modification of the traditional flashcard. Engage students by exploring various strategies.
Supplies Used: Construction Paper, Glue, Stickers, Scissors, Pen
The teacher will die-cut the materials for student use prior to the lesson.
1. Die-cut the Flipper Card and Swirls using cardstock (the paper may be stamped before cutting if desired). Place contrasting construction paper or cardstock over the 'flipper' area and die-cut (Figure A).2. Before folding Flipper Card on creases, a design line sticker may be placed at the top and bottom of the card (Figure B).
3. Attach contrasting paper to both sides of the 'flipper' using glue. A smaller piece of contrasting paper may be added on top. Adhere Swirls to card (Figure C).
4. Print or use the computer to write the question on one side of the flipper and the answer on the other side of the flipper (Figure D).
5. Students will enjoy making their own Flipper flashcards to practice their skills.
