Tree Frog Report Folder

Concept:
Use a decorated folder for an easy report cover.
Objective:
Embellish a folder and use as a report cover for any subject area.
Recommended Grade Levels: 3-5, 6-8, 9-12

Supplies Used: Construction Paper, Double-Sided Tape, Folder, Glue, Scissors
The teacher will die-cut the materials for student use prior to the lesson.
- Die-cut the right branch die from the XL 3-Part Bare Tree using brown cardstock or construction paper. Cut apart and use top left branch only. Place at desired angle and adhere to report folder using glue, double-sided tape or other adhesive. Cut away any excess along folder edge (Figure A).
- Die-cut LG Basic Beginnings Frog from dark blue and green paper. Leave the dark blue Frog whole.
- Cut the legs off the green Frog, cutting above the hip (Figure B).
- Put a tiny red piece of paper behind the eyehole on the green Frog and adhere the Tree Frog body to the dark blue Frog. Set completed Frog aside.
- Die-cut four LG Leaves #4 from green construction paper. Adhere Leaves and Frog to folder as desired, trimming at folder edges.
- Die-cut the letters "Tree Frogs" from black cardstock or construction paper using the 1 1/2" AllStar Uppercase and Lowercase Letters. Attach title to folder (see Main Photo).
