Students will reinforce skills using the Flash Card Holder and Flash Cards for multiple subjects.
Objective:
Make flash cards for any subject so students can work independently.

The Flash Card pulls out easily when the color below the correct answer is pinched between the fingers. These Flash Cards can be used for Math, Spelling or Geography.

Supplies Used: Adhesive Letters, Cardstock, Double-Sided Tape, Glue, Scissors
The teacher will die-cut the materials for student use prior to the lesson.
General Flash Card:
- Die-cut Flash Card Holder using cardstock or construction paper. Paper may be laminated for greater durability.
- Fold card along perforations and adhere the short sides with glue or double-sided tape.
- Die-cut the three small-perforated areas with three contrasting colors of paper. Cut along the perforations and adhere the small rectangles to the perforated areas on the bottom of the Flash Card Holder, using glue or double-sided tape (Figure A).
- Die-cut as many Flash Cards as desired using cardstock or construction paper (Figure B).
Math Flash Card:
- Die-cut the Pattern Block Multiples using white cardstock or construction paper.
- Using Adhesive Letters, adhere the desired fraction toward the top of the Flash Card.
- Align and adhere three Pattern Block Multiples to the center of the card.
- Divide and color the geometric figures into fractions, making two incorrect.
- Divide the one above the opening on the Flash Card into the correct fraction, matching the fraction on the card (Figure C).
Spelling Flash Card:
- Die-cut one each Tiny Fish, two Tiny Apples (one green and one red) using cardstock or construction paper and any other Tiny die-cut.
- Using Adhesive Letters, adhere the desired letter toward the top of the Flash Card.
- Decorate and layer the Tiny Apple using glue or double-sided tape. To layer, leave the green apple whole and cut the leaf and stem off the top of the red apple. Adhere the red apple to the green apple.
- Align and adhere the three shapes to the center of the Flash Card, matching the correct shape for the beginning letter above the opening on the Flash Card (Figure D).
