Supplies Used: Construction Paper, Black Pen, Glue, Poster Board, Scissors

The teacher will die-cut the materials for student use prior to the lesson.

  1. Cut a 12" x 14" piece of turquoise cardstock or poster board for the poster.
  2. Die-cut four LG Basketball Player #2 using various shades of tan and brown.
  3. Die-cut four of the Basketball Player's uniform using school colors. Trim and adhere to the tan and brown Players (Figure A).
  4. Die-cut four Players feet using white paper. Trim and adhere to the tan and brown Players. Use black pen to add highlights.
  5. Die-cut four Players basketball using brown paper. Trim and adhere to the Players hands.
  6. Die-cut four Players heads using various colors. Trim and add hair to the tan and brown Players.
  7. Computer or hand print the message on the poster.
  8. Adhere the embellished Basketball Players to the poster (see Main Photo).
