Bucks for Buckets Poster

Concept:
Make a poster to advertise a fundraising event.
Objective:
Encourage physical fitness activities for fundraising and school spirit.
Recommended Grade Levels: 6-8, 9-12

Supplies Used: Construction Paper, Black Pen, Glue, Poster Board, Scissors
The teacher will die-cut the materials for student use prior to the lesson.
- Cut a 12" x 14" piece of turquoise cardstock or poster board for the poster.
- Die-cut four LG Basketball Player #2 using various shades of tan and brown.
- Die-cut four of the Basketball Player's uniform using school colors. Trim and adhere to the tan and brown Players (Figure A).
- Die-cut four Players feet using white paper. Trim and adhere to the tan and brown Players. Use black pen to add highlights.
- Die-cut four Players basketball using brown paper. Trim and adhere to the Players hands.
- Die-cut four Players heads using various colors. Trim and add hair to the tan and brown Players.
- Computer or hand print the message on the poster.
- Adhere the embellished Basketball Players to the poster (see Main Photo).
