Go Green Paper Tray

Design a Go Green sign to promote environmental awareness.
Can use either AllStar or SureCut Dies.

Objective:

Create a Go Green paper tray to promote recycling and reusing for classwork and activities.

Recycle and reuse common classroom materials for fun projects that promote environmental awareness. Support your lessons on conservation and natural resources with a creative signs that reinforce practical uses for common classroom items. Show students how to protect the environment and prepare them as stewards of our planet. Consider labeling recycling bins, pencil containers or paper clip holders as well. Even the supply cabinet can be labeled to remind everyone to be earth friendly.

Note: This lesson can be created using either Ellison AllStar or SureCut Dies.

Supplies Used: Construction Paper, Glue, Paper Tray, Tape (Double-Sided), Scissors

The teacher will die-cut the materials for student use prior to the lesson.

  1. Die-cut the words Go Green w/Leaves from green and brown construction paper.
  2. Hand cut a rectangular piece of cardstock for the paper tray.
  3. Adhere the words Go Green and colorful Leaves to the cardstock sign.
  4. Mat the sign and secure to paper tray with double-sided tape (see Main Photo).
