Personalize cornucopias with favorite foods

Help students make healthy food choices as they celebrate the holidays. As students understand the effects of a good nutritional diet on growth and development, they assess eating habits to modify meals for a healthier lifestyle.

Die-cut various foods to place in a festive cornucopia to celebrate the holidays and healthy eating!

Supplies Used: Cardstock or Construction Paper, Colored Pencils, Crayons, Glue, Craft Sticks, Scissors

The teacher will die-cut the materials for student use prior to the lesson.

  1. Die-cut the Cornucopia and food using various colors of cardstock or construction paper.
  2. Keep one color whole and cut away highlights from other colors. Layer and adhere to embellish. Alternatively, die-cut from white construction paper and allow students to highlight with colored pencils or crayons.
  3. Adhere the Cornucopia to matted cardstock. Arrange and adhere the Food onto the Cornucopia.
  4. Add a title or personal message (see Main Photo).
