Create standing Cupcakes for holiday fun!

Personalize standing Cupcakes to celebrate birthdays or student successes. Consider cupcakes for any classroom activity!

Use a fold-and-cut technique to create a fun, standing Cupcake for any holiday, event or activity.

A10904-Ellison AllStar Die - Cupcake

Supplies Used: Cardstock, Construction Paper, Pens or Pencils (Colored), Scissors, Tape (Double-Sided)

The teacher will die-cut the materials for student use prior to the lesson.

  1. Fold a piece of cardstock or construction paper in half (Figure A).
  2. Die-cut a Cupcake, keeping the fold inside the cutting edge (Figure B).
  3. Die-cut additional Cupcakes in several colors and cut away the icings and candles.
  4. Adhere one embellish candle to each side of the cupcake. Layer the icing and adhere to each side.
  5. Adhere the candles to each other.
  6. Write the student's name on the Cupcake and highlight with colored pens or pencils (see Main Photo).
