Create fun clothespin decorations to wear or hang on bulletin boards.

Completed Critters can be used to hold papers to clip on students' shirts to designate different teams or report groups and to highlight the classroom or a bulletin board. Additionally, these Critters can be used as teaching tools to enhance oral presentations and support science lessons about organisms.

The teacher can use this assortment of Clothespin Critters to decorate bulletin boards, group students, guide oral presentations or teach lessons in science.

Supplies Used: Cardstock, Colored Pens and Pencils, Clothespins, Glue, Scissors

The teacher will die-cut the materials for student use prior to the lesson.

  1. Die-cut Frog body and Frog back from contrasting colors (Figure A).
  2. Adhere Frog back to Frog body (Figure B).
  3. Flip Frog over and adhere clothespin to the underside of the Frog body (Figure C).
  4. Critter is now complete (Figure D).
  5. Embellish as desired (see Main Photo).
