Supplies Used: Glue, Colored Pom Poms, Stuffing, Googley Eyes, Cardstock (White & Cream), Black Pen, Black Pipe Cleaners
The teacher will die-cut the materials for student use prior to the lesson.
Santa card:
- Fold a piece of white cardstock in half and die-cut the hand using (12782-LG) so that the fold is at the base of the hand.
- Die-cut two hands using (12782-LG) from red and cream cardstock.
- Trim these pieces of card down to form Santa’s hat and face. Adhere these pieces onto the white folded hand using glue.
- Trim the stuffing to form the hair and beard of Santa and then glue in place.
- Adhere the googly eyes.
- Adhere a red pom-pom onto the beard to form a nose and a white pom-pom to the end of the hat.
Elf card:
- Fold a piece of cream cardstock in half and die-cut the hand using (12782-LG) so that the fold is at the base of the hand.
- Die-cut a hand using (12782-LG) from green cardstock.
- Trim the green piece of cardstock to form the hat for the elf and adhere this onto the cream folded cardstock using glue.
- Trim the stuffing to form the hair of the elf and adhere in place.
- Adhere the googly eyes.
- Adhere a red pom-pom to form a nose and a white pom-pom to the end of the fingers.
- Use a black pen to draw a smile onto the elf.
Reindeer card:
- Fold a piece of brown cardstock in half and die-cut the hand using (12782-LG) so that the fold is at the base of the hand.
- Die-cut a circle using (657551) from brown cardstock.
- Cut two pieces of pipe cleaner and wrap to form two antlers.
- Use glue to adhere the antlers onto the back of the smaller brown circle.
- Adhere the googly eyes onto the smaller brown circle.
- Use glue to adhere a red pom-pom to form a nose.
- Use glue to adhere the face of the reindeer onto the hand.
