Create fun, stylish bookmarks for boys or girls.

Inspire year-round reading with student-created bookmarks to suit all occasions. Create bookmarks to supplement language arts lessons, reward good behavior and academic performance or celebrate holidays.

Personalize boy or girl bookmark and inspire fun reading throughout the year.

Supplies Used: Cardstock, Glue, Colored Pens or Pencils

The teacher will die-cut the materials for student use prior to the lesson.

  1. Die-cut the Bookmark, Boy and Bookmark, Girl from a variety of colored construction paper or cardstock.
  2. Keep one color whole and cut away highlights from other colors. Layer and adhere to embellish.
  3. Alternately, die-cut from white construction paper or cardstock and have students color Bookmarks with crayons or colored pencils.
  4. Decorate with colored pencils or pens (see Main Photo).
