The Sizzix Big Shot Machine works in exactly the same way as the Ellison SuperStar Machine… but opens up a whole new world of opportunities!
Since 2005, the Big Shot has become a staple of the creative consumer market, being used everyday by home crafters and teachers alike. Now is the time reap the benefits for yourself! Many of your parent volunteers may already be using this fantastic machine for their own creations at home. This portable machine is compatible with the entire Sizzix product library (excluding Plus and Pro dies), and can be used for a whole host of creations for your learning environment, from uplifting décor to engaging lesson plans.
The Big Shot in a sleek white and gray color scheme comes with a pair of cutting pads, PLUS an additional platform! This platform allows you to use Sizzix wafer-thin Framelits dies in addition to steel-rule Bigz and AllStar dies.

The Big Shot is light and portable, making it easy to carry from classroom to classroom or even to take home, making your lesson and decor preparation quick and simple.
The machine is easy to operate with its simple and intuitive design, so you can get your students involved* in creating their own die-cut masterpieces in class, making lessons fun and engaging for everyone.

More variety with Framelits dies
The additional platform that accompanies the Big Shot machine as standard, gives extra height to the cutting capabilities, and therefore allows thinner dies such as Sizzix Framelits to be used and opening up a whole range of additional dies and shapes to be explored.
Framelits are nesting dies of the same shape in various sizes, and are perfect for framing and cropping photos and text such as children's names, as unlike with Bigz you can see exactly where you want to cut.
They are also perfect for layering and adding interesting dimension to classroom displays and teaching basic shapes. Framelits are small, lightweight, easy to store and will cut one sheet of paper, lightweight cardstock, adhesive sheets and vellum, plus getting up to 8 dies in one pack, they are great value! Don't forget about Bigz dies
Our steel-rule Bigz and AllStar dies have been a staple of the Ellison Education catalog for many years and work perfectly on the Big Shot. These dies cut almost anything including cardstock, felt, fabric, foam, magnet, leather, craft aluminium and many other materials. You can cut multiple layers with these dies through one pass through the Big Shot making it a quick and easy solution to lesson planning and classroom décor.
