Transform Your Classroom or Home with an Easy Fall Garland!

Transform Your Classroom or Home with an Easy Fall Garland! It is officially fall. It’s time for pumpkins, colorful leaves, fires, and s’mores. Hi friends, it’s Amanda from Mrs. Pauley’s Kindergarten here with you today. One thing that I love about Ellison products is that not only do I use the dies to create activities for my classroom, but I also use them quite often to make decorations for my home. I like to decorate for the different seasons and holidays. My favorite place to decorate is our new fireplace. I wanted to make a bunting that I could hang from it to add a little pizzazz to my living room.

I used the pumpkin die, hemp cord, scrapbook paper, and stickers to make this bunting.

First, I cut out orange pumpkins and decorative pumpkins from scrapbook paper I found at the craft store.

Then I added stickers to spell out “Happy Fall” although you could spell out anything you want. If you have alphabet dies they'd be perfect for spelling out your garland's message.
I also tied some twine in a bow and glued it on the orange pumpkins.

All I had left to do was use my hot glue gun to attach my pumpkins to the hemp cord. I decided to make it into two buntings since my fireplace is pretty small.

I am in love with the way it turned out. I love that I can use it from September through November if I want.

I will definitely be taking this idea and creating more of these using different Ellison dies. The possibilities are endless. I am thinking mittens for winter and suns for the summer time.

What dies would you use to create one of these in your house? Tell us in the comments below! Happy creating, friends!
